The Experience (2 hours)
Experience the meditative art of Japanese calligraphy while savoring exceptional local drinks. Each session is thoughtfully crafted to create lasting memories of Japanese culture.
- Create your own ink using traditional methods with ink bar, ink stone and water
- Practice fundamental brush strokes through guided practice
- Practice unique Japanese characters and learn the meanings behind each characters
- Savor 2 Japanese drinks, each paired with unique Japanese characters and snacks (You can choose Alcohol or Non-Alcohol course after booking)
- Alcohol: Japanese whiskey and Japanese sake
- Non-Alcohol: Yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit) juice and Japanese tea
- Write your favorite word or phrase in Japanese on hanging scroll (Kakejiku) and take it home with you

- Free rental of traditional coat (happi) to protect your clothes from ink
